Darum ist es unerlässlich für „Businesses“, d.h. Restaurants, Hotels, Geschäfte etc., digital „präsent“ zu sein. Dabei hat ein amerikanischer Grosskonzern, Google, eine fast monopolartige Position erreicht. Das birgt für Businesses - wie auch für uns alle - neue Herausforderungen und Gefahren mit sich. <br /> <br /> Mit dem Projekt OpenStreeMap hat sich eine Webkarte etabliert, die manchmal noch unbekannt ist und oft noch unterschätzt wird und darum teilweise – vornehmlich von amtlichen Stellen – ungerechtfertigterweise ignoriert wird.<br /> <br /> Mit einer Initiative soll OpenStreetMap, das viel mehr als eine Karte ist, besser sichtbar und nutzbar gemacht werden, einerseits als Alternative aber auch als einzigartige Informationsquelle. <br /> <br /> Es gibt schon seit einiger Zeit eine (englischsprachige) Webapplikation namens OnOsm , welche noch nicht genügt, jedoch voraussichtlich als Vorlage für diese Initiative dient.<br /> <br /> == Infos für Mapper ==<br /> <br /> * Es kann in OSM nichts &quot;kaputt&quot; gehen: Es werden &quot;nur&quot; OSM Notes erzeugt (strukturiert, und u.a. mit Hashtag #osmybiz versehen) und zwar von einem dedizierten Konto.<br /> * Mapper sind herzlich eingeladen, diese OSM Notes gezielt zu bearbeiten.<br /> * Spam ist zu erwarten und kann nicht verhindert werden.
