Geoinformationsgesetz
GeoIG ist die Abkürzung für das "Bundesgesetz über die Geoinformationen". Es tritt auf 1.7.2008 in Kraft.

Für geografische Namen gilt im Rahmen des Geoinformationsgesetezs ab 1.7.2008 die entsprechende Verordnung über Geografische Name (GeoNV).
