About

This event is about "putting vulnerable people on the map!", more specifically on OpenStreetMap, A Map of the World, Created by People Like You.

There are two main areas and topics we map: Mapping sidewalks fFor wheelchair routing in Zurich city (group W) and mapping for humanitarian actions (group H).

Useful information

• This mapathon has no fees. It's being mainly sponsored by UZH DSI and also by FH OST.

This mapathon is held in english (german is also OK) and it's compliant with the Richtlinien ('Directed Editing Policy') of OSM.

This event is being supported by the Missing Maps Zürich and the International Office, Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences - OST, Rapperswi (Switzerland).

 What to prepare? Registration is sponsored but you can bring along BBQ stuff and sweets.
