About

This event is about "putting vulnerable people on the map!", more specifically on OpenStreetMap, A Map of the World, Created by People Like You.

There are two main areas and topics we map: Mapping sidewalks fFor wheelchair routing in Zurich city (group W) and mapping for humanitarian actions (group H).

• Why participate? Because it's fun to participate in this crowdsourced, citizen science project!

This mapathon has no fees, but you can bring along BBQ stuff and sweets. It is held in english (german is also OK) and it's compliant with the Richtlinien ('Directed Editing Policy') of OSM.

This event is being supported by the Missing Maps Zürich and the International Office, Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences - OST, Rapperswi (Switzerland).
